Tag/Day 3.1 auf der/on MEIN SCHIFF 2 in Kopenhagen/Copenhagen, Denmark

Verlässt man sich (als jemand, der gerne etwas sieht und fotografiert) auf den Kapitän so ist man verlassen... da ich nun so oft den Öresund bis Kopenhagen runtergefahren bin, habe ich mich mal nicht auf die letzte Zeitangabe des Kapitäns verlassen und bin mal sicherheitsheitshalber eine Stunde früher aufgewacht: Sonnenaufgang am Öresund.



If you (as a person who loves to see a lot and take pictures) rely on the Captain then you are lost... As I went many times the Sound down to Copenhagen I did not count on the time the Captain announced and woke up an hour earlier: Sunrise at the Sound.







Denn ich konnte dann schon Helsingborg entdecken.



I could already discover Helsingborg.

The most narrow place at the Sound is located between Helsingör and Helsingborg. With ferry traffic. Always busy as you could see.



Die engste Stelle im Öresund liegt zwischen Helsingör und Helsingborg. Mit Fährverkehr. Viel los, wie man sieht.

Draußen auf dem Balkon war es allerdings arschkalt.



But outside on the verandah it was really cold.









Here at the backside you could see the Marina Plaza Hotel directly at the banks. But this time we booked just behind: Hotel Linnéa. So I need to walk to the banks in the morning: 100 yards. But 50 EUR more just for a view to the water was not worth. I stayed there already once before (20 years ago...), but it could happen that you have an obstruction from your room because of the ferry.



Hinten sieht man das Hotel Marina Plaza direkt am Ufer. Aber dieses Mal sind wir direkt dahinter gebucht; Hotel Linnéa. Muss ich halt morgens 100 m zum Ufer laufen. Aber bei 50 EUR sind mir der Blick aus dem Zimmer nicht Wert. Ich habe dort schon mal übernachtet (vor 20 Jahren...), aber der Blick auf den Öresund kann auch durch eine Fähre versperrt sein.









Ich bin immer verwundert, dass Princess in Helsingborg anlegt...

Time to return to sleep. There would not so much to see on the Swedisch side.



Zeit wieder schlafen zu gehen. Nun passiert nämlich auf der schwedischen Seite nichts.

Da der Vorhang sich nicht vollständig schließen lässt und die Sonne so aus dem Osten kommt und genau reinscheint, wünschte ich mir, dass ich vom letzten Flug eine Schlafmaske mitgenommen hätte.



As it was impossible to close the curtain completely and sun came from the East into our cabin, I really wished to have sleeping mask with me from my previous flights.



Also die Frage der Fragen: Hans Grohe oder Friedrich Grohe... eindeutig Friedrich Grohe.



Someone asked which Grohe comapny supplied the fittings... Friedrich Grohe.

Looked like that some cruisers were first-time cruisers who congested the toilets and so we get a letter with instruction how to use the toilets.



Da scheinen wohl ein paar Erstfahrer an Bord zu sein, die wohl die Toilettenanlage verstopft haben und daher kommt ein Schreiben, wie man die Toilette bedienen muss.

Aha - die Windräder und im Hintergrund die Öresundbrücke. D. h. wir laufen in Kopenhagen ein. Mein Lieblingsstadt.



Ah - the wind wheels and in the background the bridge over the Sound. I. e. we arrived in Copenhagen. My favorite city.





I could already saw Langelinie (the cruise terminal next to the city center).
