Tag/Day 2.2 auf der/on ARTEMIS in Zeebrugge, Belgium

Unser Bad hat wirklich den Charme der 70-er Jahre.



Our bathroom looked like the 70s.

But you had a bathtub.



Aber sogar eine Badewanne.

Ein großzügiger Waschtisch.



A larger sink.

I did not know this brand: The White Collection.



Die Marke kannte ich nicht bislang: The White Collection.

Fester Duschkopf - aber immerhin von Hans Grohe.



Wall-fixed shower head but from Hans Grohe.

Another fitting as well from Hans Grohe.



Auch eine weitere Armatur von Hans Grohe.

Alles auf eine längere Fahrt ausgerichtet.



Made for longer journeys.

The button was somehow strange. Hope that they will replace the toilet seats because this one was 70s style. Why should not you flush while you are seating???



Der Knopf war etwas ungewöhnlich. Hoffentlich wird der WC-Sitz ausgewechselt, der wirkte auch richtig 70-er mäßig. Übrigens ist das Abziehen während man sitzt unerwünscht - warum eigentlich???

In den Eckspiegelschränken gibt es auch noch Platz und eine Steckdose für den Rasierer.

The orange juice had some pulp inside... And no problem to get a green tea.



Im Orangensaft war sogar Fruchtfleisch... Und meinen grünen Tee bekam ich ohne Probleme.

Ich habe ein P&O Cruises Frühstück bestellt. Die Lammleber war nicht meins.



I ordered a P&O Cruises breakfast. But lamb liver was not mine.

A rack for toast... Should not be toast served in a basket inside fabric in England???



Ein Toastständer... Gehört Toast in England nicht klassisch in einen Korb mit einem Tuch hinein???

Vielleicht sind wir ja durch die CELEBRITY EQUINOX etwas verwöhnt. Aber das Grün wirkte doch schon sehr altbacken.



Maybe we were indulged by CELEBRITY EQUINOX. But green color appeared somehow frumpy.







Kann man nicht so eine Tür austauschen???



Was not it possible to replace such a door???





Die Scheiben sind am Rande schon blind. Das war so ein Bereich des offenen Decks, auf dem ich mich sehr unwohl geführt habe.



The glass was somehow what we call "blind". I did not feel very comfortable in this part of the ship.



They did paint works. Although it looked more like mountain climbing.



Es wurde ja gestrichen. Zwar wirkte es mehr wie Bergsteigen.

Aber in diesem Bereich sehe ich es als Gast ja nicht.



But as guest I had no view to this part of the ship.





Offensichtlich hat der Hafen Zeebrugge doch eine Passagierbrücke spendiert.



Looked like the Port of Zeebrugge invested for a passenger bridge.



Ich mag ja die Balkonkabinen nicht, bei denen direkt unterhalb des Balkons ein Rettungsboot hängt, weil man dann das Geschehen am Kai nicht verfolgen kann. So haben wir Glück, dass bei uns kein Rettungsboot vorhängt, aber wohl alle Kabinen, die weiter zum Bug gehen.



I dislike the balconies with a lifeboat below because you cannot see what is happening on the pier. So we were lucky that we had no lifeboat in our area but cabins which were located closer to the bow.
