Tag/Day 3.2 auf der/on ARTANIA in Ijmuiden, The Netherlands statt/instead of Amsterdam

In IJmuiden entsteht nochmals eine Serie mit der ARTANIA.



In IJmuiden, the Netherlands, another series of ARTANIA was taken.

I was waiting for a call. The Hotel Manager had time for me to talk about the incident at the spa. Annoying: I got every announcement, even if I did not want. The TV still did not work. That was why I could not listen to follow. We were expecting another "dance" (sea movements) again this evening. So for safety's sake, I put ginger ale and green apples in the bathroom cabinet. There it should be well secured. The cabin doors were decorated Christmas. They always spoiled me nicely, and at the same time the information for the debarkation came.



Mich erwartet ein Anruf. Der Hoteldirektor hat Zeit für mich, um mal über den Vorfall im Spa zu sprechen. Nervig: ich bekomme jede Ansage mit, auch wenn ich gar nicht will. Der Fernseher funktioniert immer noch nicht. Deswegen kann ich dort nicht mithören. Man erwartet heute Abend wieder einen "Tanz". So stelle ich mir sicherheitshalber schon mal Ginger Ale und grüne Äpfel in den Badezimmerschrank. Dort müsste es gut abgesichert sein. Die Kabinentüren werden weihnachtslicher dekoriert. Ich werde immer nett verwöhnt und gleichzeitig schon die Hinweise für die Abreise.

Auf zum Mittagessen.

I looked around on the open deck. Before it was a bleached grass green on ARTEMIS 2010 and now it was the Phoenix turquoise... I did not know what I liked better. And I also looked around inside and took part in the raffle of the map. It was for charity.



Ich gucke mich auf dem offenen Deck um. Vorher im ausgebleichten grasgrün auf der ARTEMIS 2010 und nun das Phoenix-Türkis... ich weiß nicht, was mir besser gefällt. Und ich sehe mich auch noch drinnen um und nehme an der Verlosung der Karte teil. Ist für einen guten Zweck.

Auf zur Tea-Time. Angebot ist gut. Mitreisende waren es nicht so. Es gibt genügend Mitreisende, die meinen, dass man sich bedienen sollte, während noch aufgebaut wird. Deswegen mag ich lieber Tea-Time bei Princess und Cunard. Dort wird man am Platz bedient und kann sich nicht auf das Büffet stürzen.



I went to the tea time. The offer was good. The cruise-fellows were not. There were enough fellow travelers who thought they should help themselves while they were still setting up. That was why I liked tea time with Princess and Cunard. There, someone was serving at your seat, and nobody could not plunge the buffet.

I prepared my questions and comments for the Hotel Director before I met him.



Meine Frage und Anmerkungen für den Hoteldirektor, die ich schon vorbereitet hatte, bevor der Termin stand.

Es gibt mal wieder Brühe in der Kabine.

Went to the Four Seasons for dinner. None was escorting you to the table. You just try to find yourself. I could not find any small table. I took a larger table. And later guests were running through and asked, if they may join. Highway-service plaza-like in the 70s in Germany.



Auf zum Abendessen im Vier Jahreszeiten. Man wird nicht zum Tisch begleitet. Man soll sich selbst suchen. Kleine Tische finde ich keine. Ich setze mich an einen größeren Tisch. Und später laufen andere Gäste durch und fragen, ob sie sich dazu setzen können. Autobahn-Raststätte 70-er Jahre Stil!

Brötchen sind immer gut.

Es geht wieder zum Abendessen, aber dieses Mal wieder ins Artania Restaurant.

Die Suppen sind gut.

Ein bisschen Platz muss ich noch für die Bodega Bar lassen. Dort werden holländische Spezialitäten bereitgehalten.

How? Lunchbox for 5.00 EUR??? What should men like me do, who always had larger Tupperware-boxes with me, to rob the buffet.



Wie? Lunchbox für 5,00 EUR??? Was machen so Leute wie ich, die für den letzten Tag immer große Tupperware-Dosen mit haben, um das Büffet abzuräumen?

Das sieht ja irgendwie schon toll aus.

Keine White Hot Party wie bei Norwegian wie damals auf der NORWEGIAN SKY 2015, sondern eine Party wie der Ball von Cunard?

Ist die Show von Norwegian jetzt auch an Bord der ARTANIA? Ich kenne die Show "Elements" von der NORWEGIAN JADE 2011 (2) oder NORWEGIAN SPIRIT 2013.

I preferred to see again from the bed. But they would need some new cables, new cameras, or whatever. Watching was no fun. Goodnight.



Ich gucke lieber wieder vom Bett aus. Aber die brauchen neue Kabel, neue Kamera oder was auch immer. Zugucken macht keinen Spaß. Gute Nacht.
