Ein schöner Anblick über den Bug.

Ein schöner Anblick auch in die Kabinen. Diese Scheiben sind doch sehr viel klarer, als ich es von anderen Schiffen her kenne. Man sieht doch sehr viel mehr, als ich bislang dachte.

I was heading through the ship. It was still a beautiful ship like we remembered from ARTEMIS 2010.

Die AURORA liegt bei Blohm & Voss Werft im Trockendock.

Die BALMORAL liegt auch noch hier im Trockendock.

The Cabin Service: mini-bar, coffee maker (chargeable!), No around-the-clock cabin service. The broth with vegetable strips did not exist. But the soup of the day from the menu. Since this information on the phone can not be given, you had to go to the menu just to check. It was like a better hotel in Germany.



Der Kabinenservice: Mini-Bar, Kaffeemaschine (kostenpflichtig!), kein rund-um-die-Uhr-Kabinenservice. Die Kraftbrühe mit Gemüsestreifen gibt es gar nicht. Sondern die Tagessuppe aus der Karte. Da hierüber keine Auskunft am Telefon erteilt werden kann, muss man eigentlich immer mal kurz zur Speisekarte laufen, um zu Gucken. Es ist halt wie in einem besseren Hotel in Deutschland.

Ich gehe hoch zum Spa-Bereich, um mich nach freien Terminen zu erkundigen.

Ein Blick auch oben ins SB-Restaurant. Es ist abends eingedeckt. So ist es hier auch sehr voll.



A view to the self-service restaurant. The tables were set up for dinner. So it was quite crowded.

It was good. But there was not so much choice as with international companies. I did not use the free table and water. Gerolsteiner was a NoGo for me. I had to drink too much of it as a child, and it just did not taste good. There was Cranberry Spritzer and very sympathetic with only 7% service charge on top. Reason for me always something to add on it. My desire for small portions was gladly fulfilled. Here in the ARTANIA restaurant, there were also a few tables of 2, which I liked very much. It used to be a lounge in the time when she was ARTEMIS 2010. I recognized a few elements again.



Das ist gut. Nur gibt es nicht so eine große Auswahl, wie bei den internationalen Gesellschaften. Den kostenlosen Tisch und das Wasser nehme ich nicht in Anspruch. Gerolsteiner ist für mich ein NoGo. Ich musste als Kind zuviel davon trinken und es schmeckt mir einfach nicht. Dafür gab es Cranberry-Schorle und sehr sympatisch mit nur 7% Service-Charge. Grund für mich immer etwas noch darauf zu legen. Mein Wunsch nach kleinen Portionen wird gerne erfüllt. Hier im ARTANIA-Restaurant gibt es auch einige 2-er Tische, was ich sehr mag. Es war ja früher eine Lounge in der Zeit als sie ARTEMIS 2010 war. Ein paar Elemente erkenne ich doch wieder.

Das Bild ist schlecht - der Fernseher defekt - die Leitungen nicht isoliert - oder ist nur die Aufnahmetechnik veraltet? Aber egal. Als Einschlafprogramm ist es perfekt. Gute Nacht.
