Auf allen anderen Schiffen wird ja demonstrativ vor Beginn der Seenotrettungsübung der Service eingestellt und abgeräumt, aber hier nicht...Fand ich im Gegensatz zu MEIN SCHIFF 2 gut: Einer hielt sehr klar das Schild mti der Station hoch und es wurde sehr konsequent auch alles geprüft.
Compared to MEIN SCHIFF 2 it was good: Someone hold clear a sign with the station and they checked very strong our presence.With the hook I had somehow some problems to take the life vest on...
Mit diesem Haken hatte ich schon meine Schwierigkeiten in die Weste reinzukommen...Bruno hatte sie sich sie nicht angelegt.

Daraufhin kommt eine Kellnerin vorbei und bereitet ihm die Weste vor.Sie legt sie ihm an. So wissen wir auch beruhigt, dass die Crew weiss, was sie tut.

Und schnallt sie ihm so eng um, dass Bruno bewusstlos wird... und den Rest der Übung schläft...Wir sind noch nicht auf offener See.

Before dinner we got already our programme for the 2nd day and the questionnaire.
Vor dem Abendessen bekommen wir bereits das Programm für den 2. Tag und die Fragebögen.
Sieht nicht so billig aus, wie bei allen anderen, die ja für den Tag der Ausschiffung meistens ja kein richtiges Tagesprogramm mehr ausgeben...

WE WERE ON A PARTY CRUISE!!! WE WANTED TO SLEEP LONGER!!! At 07.00 hrs they start with breakfast. I. e. you even cannot get back to your cabin to brush your teeth. You had a baggage service from the pier to the ship but not v. v.. There was no baggage storage i. e. everyone must go for breakfast with the bags... Unbelievable. According to the files we should arrive at 08.00 hrs and debarkation should start earliest 09.00 hrs according to the records.
Aber sehr brisanter Inhalt: um 07.00 Uhr müssen die Kabinen geräumt werden. WIR SIND AUF EINER PARTYCRUISE AM WOCHENENDE!!! WIR WOLLEN AUSSCHLAFEN!!! Um 07.00 Uhr beginnt das Frühstück. D. h. man kann nicht einmal zurück in die Kabine, um sich die Zähne zu putzen. Es gab einen Gepäckservice vom Land auf das Schiff aber nicht umgekehrt. Es gibt keine Gepäckaufbewahrung, d. h. alle müssen mit Gepäck zum Frühstück... Unglaublich. Dabei sollen wir erst um 08.00 Uhr anlegen lt. Unterlagen und frühestens um 09.00 Uhr soll die Ausschiffung erst beginnen.
Die Ausschiffung soll stattdessen bereits um 08.00 Uhr mit einer großen Reisegruppe beginnen. Die Transfergäste nach Liverpool waren für 10.30 Uhr angekündigt. Nun sollen sie um 09.00 Uhr von Bord. Und wir sollen um 10.40 Uhr von Bord.

Den Herrn auf dem Fragebogen merken wir uns und er bekommt nach der Kreuzfahrt ein paar passende Worte. Bereits 24 Stunden später kam dann auch eine Antwort, wofür man sich für das Fehlverhalten der Schiffsführung an Bord entschuldigt hat und zugibt, dass an Bord die Situation falsch eingeschätzt wurde und die Schiffsführung versagt hat. Am Schluss hat man mir zur 50. Kreuzfahrt gratuliert und hofft mich trotzdem mal auf der OCEAN COUNTESS oder MARCO POLO wiederzusehen. Immerhin. TUI Cruises hat mir schon über TUI Leisure Cruise mitteilen lassen, dass sie nicht die Absicht haben, mir zu antworten und TUI Leisure Cruise ist es mehr oder minder auch egal, hautpsache ich buche wieder bei ihnen... was ich allerdings auch nicht vor habe.
Einen 2-er Tisch haben wir nicht bekommen, obwohl noch welche frei waren. Allerdings kann man ja auch im SB-Restaurant essen. Deswegen muss es nicht zwangsläufig heißen, dass es böse Absicht war, dass wir keinen bekommen haben. Wir hatten ein englisches Ehepaar, das sich mal das Schiff angucken wollte.
There was no table for 2 for us although there were few tables for 2 untaken. But you can also have dinner in the self-service restaurant. So it must not need to be a bad intention that we did not get one. We shared the table with an English couple who liked to see the ship.
Es sah immer noch so aus, wie im Krankenhaus - wie vor sechs Jahren. Nichts hat sich geändert. Außer dass eine gewisse Eleganz fehlt: Die schönen Platzteller, von denen wir ja einen zu Hause als Souvenir haben.
It still looked hospital - like 6 years before. Nothing changed but some elegance was missing: the nice underplates. One of them we have home as souvenir.Each of the single ingredient was nice... But the combination with blue-cheese-dressing the Mediterranean Salad with grilled antipasti did not fit.
Also jedes der Einzelteile schmeckte... Nur in der Kombination mit Blue-Cheese-Dressing passte so der sehr mediterrane Salat mit der gegrillten Antipasti irgendwie nicht.
Die Klimaanlage zog nicht mehr so. Ich konnte mich an die vielen Servietten erinnern, die überall dazwischensteckten. Aber das Abkleben der Folien ist wohl nicht so gut gelungen... So viele Luftlöcher... Es sieht daher aus, wie auf der Akropolis...
The air-condition was not breezy anymore. I remember the many napkins the waiters put in. But sticking the new foils was not very successfully... Many air gaps... So it looked a little like Akropolis...Lamb Curry... for dinner... with P&O you get this for lunch. It was nice. But all relishes and chutneys were missing... Our tablemates agreed.
Lamm-Curry... zum Abendessen... bei P&O gibt es so etwas mittags. Es war lecker. Leider fehlten die ganzen Relishes und Chutneys... Dem stimmen unsere Tischnachbarn zu.

Wir sind von hinten reingegangen. Auf der LILI MARLEEN war der Zugang in der Regel zu. Wäre aber auch eh egal gewesen. Man wurde nämlich nicht an den Tisch begleitet, sondern es wurde gezeigt, wie man seinen Tisch findet. Vorne wurde übrigens alles aufgebaut, damit man sieht, was einen erwartet. Angesichts der Tatsache, dass wir ja eine Stunde Zeitunterschied haben und um 06.00 Uhr aufwachen müssen, um um 07.00 Uhr zu frühstücken, verzichten wir auf die Show.
We entered the restaurant from the back side. On LILI MARLEEN this access was closed. We did not mind. They did not escort you to your table but show you how you find your table. At the front door they displayed of food so you could see what you could expect. Due to the time difference and the need that we need to wake up at 08.00 hrs to have breakfast at 07.00 hrs we did not want to see the show.
